This section includes the various organisations who provide health services that are available for Christian and mission workers.

From April 2015, the UK government changed the regulations for NHS charging. Basically, free NHS treatment is now only provided to those who are 'ordinarily resident' in the UK. This affects some long term mission workers who had, until 2015, been exempt from such charges. You should check to see if this affects you and, if so, consider extending your medical insurance to cover anything that isn't provided. For further info, see the following: www.gov.uk/government/news/new-rules-to-improve-overseas-visitors-contributions-to-nhs-care.

Most travel health insurance providers adjusted their policies to cover the new situation. See a list of travel health insurance providers.
