Who's behind OSCAR?
Mike Frith - Founding Director
Mike works full-time with OSCAR and is involved in just about every aspect of the organisation. Originally from Dunstable, he worked as a pilot/engineer with Mission Aviation Fellowship in Madagascar and Uganda before returning to the UK to set up OSCAR. He has a Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Post Grad. Diploma in Mission Aviation Technology. He has also been involved in church planting and pioneer mission initiatives. Mike is married to Cheryl and they have two grown up children, Joanna and Will.
Tim Coysh - Website Development
Tim joined the OSCAR team in 2025 and helps develop the website. Tim has been designing websites since the age of 12. He is a huge fan of technology, any sport, and could be the world's biggest extrovert. He is married to Ellie and they have two young children, Luca and Ivy.
Charlotte Klitgaard - SEO & Google Ads
Charlotte has been working as OSCAR's SEO and Google Ads consultant since March 2022. When she's not helping OSCAR appear higher on search engines, she's running her business Wild SEO Agency which exists to improve the online presence of churches and charities—as well as spending time with her husband and two young children, Levi and Caleb.
Joan Thomson - Admin & Data Checking
Joan has been a volunteer since 2018, helping with various admin and database tasks. Retired now following a career in education, she is actively involved in church life doing a variety of roles. She has recently moved to Northern Ireland from Scotland and is married to John.
Heather Snoek - Northern Ireland Representative
Heather has represented OSCAR in Northern Ireland since 2019 and has recently retired from teaching. She is married to Frank (former missionary pilot) whom she met while they were both serving in Ivory Coast with WEC International. Since then they have served with JAARS (Jungle Aviation And Radio Service) in the USA and Kenya. They have three grown-up children: Nathan, Aimee and Rebekka.
