
Key Responsibilities
Housing Operations
Oversee the effective management of the current four-bed housing provision.
Ensure properties are maintained to a high standard and remain safe, compliant, and suitable for residents.
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and systems to support housing operations.
Monitor occupancy levels, void management, and resident wellbeing.
Expansion and Development
Lead the planning, development, and implementation of new supported accommodation projects.
Support the identification and acquisition of suitable housing opportunities.
Contribute to strategic growth plans for housing services.
Ensure new services are established in line with regulatory, legal, and organisational requirements.
Compliance and Governance
Ensure all housing services operate in compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, safeguarding requirements, health and safety standards, and best practice guidance.
Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting systems.
Monitor and manage risk within housing services.
Prepare reports and updates for the Board of Directors and funding bodies as required.
Staff Management
Recruit, supervise, support, and develop housing staff and volunteers.
Conduct inductions, supervision meetings, appraisals, and performance management processes.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.
Ensure staff receive appropriate training and professional development opportunities.
Partnership Working
Build and maintain effective relationships with local authorities, housing providers, support agencies, funders, and community partners.
Attend meetings, forums, and partnership events on behalf of Th3 Sun CIC.
Represent the organisation professionally and positively at all times.
Resident Support and Service Quality
Promote a person-centred approach that supports residents to achieve positive outcomes and greater independence.
Ensure residents' voices are heard and contribute to service development.
Monitor service quality and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Person Specification
Essential
Experience managing housing, supported accommodation, homelessness, or related services.
Knowledge of housing legislation, safeguarding, health and safety, and regulatory compliance.
Experience managing, supervising, and recruiting staff.
Strong organisational, administrative, and report-writing skills.
Experience working with multiple stakeholders and partner agencies.
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital record-keeping systems.
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (or ability to travel independently as required).
Desirable
Relevant qualification in housing, management, social care, community development, or a related field.
Experience establishing or expanding housing or supported accommodation services.
Knowledge of funding, commissioning, and contract management processes.
Experience working within the voluntary, community, or social enterprise sector.

Christian Occupational Requirement
Th3 Sun CIC is a Christian organisation whose vision, values, ethos, and activities are rooted in the Christian faith. The Housing Manager will play a key leadership role in representing the organisation, contributing to its strategic direction, supporting its Christian ethos, and engaging with stakeholders on behalf of the organisation.
