The Google Cloud Administrator is a key member of the Innovation and Technology team, responsible for managing and maintaining the cloud infrastructure that underpins Pioneers Media’s digital ministry operations.

This role ensures the availability, security, and scalability of platforms including websites, web services, applications, and data systems. Working closely with the Lead Developer, IT Specialists, Google Workspace Administrator, and the Pioneers International Technology team, the post holder helps ensure that cloud services are robust, efficient, and aligned with Pioneers Media’s strategic goals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and maintaining the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment

  • Implementing cloud security best practices and policies

  • Monitoring system performance, availability, and health

  • Administering user access controls and permissions

  • Collaborating with internal and international technology teams

  • Supporting IT helpdesk functions relating to cloud services

We are looking for someone who brings:

  • Proven experience as a Google Cloud Administrator, Cloud Engineer, or similar role

  • Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services

  • Experience with cloud security principles and tools

  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
