About Compassion UK
Compassion is a Christian child development charity that sees beyond poverty to the incredible potential God has placed in every child and family. Partnering with more than 8,900 local churches in 29 countries, we work to release children from poverty in Jesus’ name. You can read more about these principles and our history on our website.
*Please note: This role is advertised externally as Events Operations & Volunteer Team Leader. Internally, the role is known as Events Advocacy & Resourcing Team Leader, which is the title used within the attached job description.
Are you an experienced team leader who enjoys developing people, improving processes and bringing clarity to busy operational work?
This is an opportunity to lead the team that equips Compassion’s advocates, events and Partnerships teams with the resources, systems and practical support they need to engage supporters with excellence.
As our Events Advocacy & Resourcing Team Leader, you’ll lead and develop a team responsible for event advocacy, resourcing and logistics. You’ll help ensure colleagues and advocates are properly equipped, key processes work effectively and delivery expectations are met.
Working collaboratively across the Partnerships Team, you’ll oversee the resources and operational support behind our events and advocacy activity. You’ll also help enable the Events Advocacy and Compassion Church Champions strategies so that advocates are trained, supported and confident in representing Compassion.
By leading this work with care, clarity and purpose, you’ll help your team contribute towards seeing more children released from poverty in Jesus’ name.
If you are a collaborative and practical leader who enjoys helping people thrive and finding better ways to deliver, we’d love to hear from you.
