  • Are you a committed Christian* who is passionate about the persecuted church and the mission of Open Doors?
  • Are you highly organised, accurate and confident working with financial information and databases?
  • Are you motivated by providing excellent service and ensuring supporters receive a positive and professional experience?

Open Doors is a Christian charity that is looking to recruit active, practicing Christians to stand in the GAP (give, act, pray) on behalf of persecuted Christians worldwide. Every day, millions of Christians risk their lives to follow Jesus. In more than 70 countries, Open Doors supports them by supplying Bibles, providing emergency relief and helping persecuted believers stand strong for the long-term.

As our Donations Administrator, you will play an important role in ensuring that the gifts entrusted to Open Doors are processed accurately, efficiently and in accordance with financial and regulatory requirements. Working within the Supporter Services team, you will be responsible for maintaining supporter records, processing donations, Direct Debits and Standing Orders, administering Gift Aid, and supporting daily banking activities. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will help ensure that every gift is handled with care and good stewardship.

Working closely with colleagues across Supporter Services and Finance, you will provide a timely and professional service to supporters, responding to enquiries and helping to deliver an excellent supporter experience. You will contribute to the effective management of supporter data, uphold GDPR and HMRC requirements, and support the ongoing development of systems and processes that enable Open Doors to serve its supporters well. This is an opportunity to combine strong administrative skills with a passion for serving the persecuted church through practical, behind-the-scenes support.

You will have the opportunity to use your God-given character and talents to contribute to the work of Open Doors and to work with integrity and with purpose. We offer a flexible role with a good work-life balance, huge job satisfaction and employee benefits. You will work with some inspirational people and there are plenty of opportunities to develop your career.

We welcome applications from candidates of different backgrounds. If you are a Christian* looking to make an impact and seeking a new challenge in 2026, here’s how to apply:

Please note: We will review applications on an ongoing basis and may invite suitable candidates to interview before the closing date. As such, we reserve the right to close this vacancy early should we identify a suitable candidate. Early applications are therefore encouraged.

Closing date: Sunday, 26 July 2026
Interviews: Tuesday, 4 August 2026 (in-person, at our offices in Witney)

*There is an occupational requirement under Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010 for this post to be held by an active, practising Christian who assents to our statement of faith.
