Remedy International Wesleyan Church in Poděbrady is an open and friendly church for all generations - families and individuals, believers and faith seekers, and for those looking for friends or encouragement. Their desire is to know Christ, live for him, and pass on the good news of the Gospel. This church loves to remove prejudices and barriers to the Christian faith, answer questions, and also help anyone who needs it. They want to bless their community and be a light in their city.
The church team is looking for more English-speaking members (singles or families) who are willing to relocate to work with them particularly with a focus on reaching students. Candidates should be outgoing and passionate about building relationships, keen to foster community within the church, dedicated to developing future church leaders, and fluent in English. The missionary would be a part of a local team, so a teamwork-oriented personality is required.
In this church, students have accepted Jesus, are growing in their faith, and some are discipling newer Christians. They plan outreach events, lead worship, and tell others about Jesus. Some students even became elders. It takes time in the Czech Republic, but they are encouraged that many others will follow the path to Christ, and find life. Is God calling you to join his team?
