Rivers of Hope Church

Hello, we are a new non-denominational online and home fellowship church based in the West Oxfordshire area. We come from the UK and the United States. We would love to reach out to you if you desire to be in a welcoming Christian community. Our home fellowship meeting starts when laws permit. However, we can still meet with you online or in-person,  weekdays or weekends. Feel free to contact us. God bless!

Do let us know if you would like to meet up during the week or at weekends. We could, for instance, go for a coffee or for a walk in the park to discuss the Bible, or to just talk about everyday life. Whatever you feel comfortable with. We also love talking about and watching movies, games, and the like. For Sunday church, we plan to start our home fellowship as soon as the laws permit us to do so. Let us know if you would like to join us online or in-person. We welcome families, students, film professionals, and all others.

As a church, we care about our communities and the world. We pray for you all. We also believe in helping people know Jesus first-hand, by using the gifts and passions He has given us to equip one another for the purpose of spreading His good news. We welcome you at any stage of your journey with God, whether you are full of joy and excited about life, or you are really struggling to see your place in the world. We are a growing, accepting and grace-filled community where you can be yourself around others. We encourage one another to pursue Jesus more, praying with and challenging one another to be more like Him every day. We all have a unique calling to engage with this world, and we believe it is our responsibility to help as many of our brothers and sisters in Christ as we can to discover and carry out their unique purposes in life.

As filmmakers ourselves, we also have a heart for those within the film industry. We want to see God break down barriers and establish a powerful and holy presence within the entertainment sectors of our society. We are encouraged to see Him already at work in this field, and want to see the change He is making last. We believe He has called us to engage with The Arts in general and to be an encouragement to Christians and non-Christians who are already involved in the film industry.
