In and around Lisbon, various ECM people are active in a collaborative church planting network, which works together with local churches. We are looking for people to work in an existing church plant or to help develop new church plants as part of this network. Part of what you will do is to build friendships in which the Gospel can be shared and discipleship can take place. Other urban ministries may include using sports or social initiatives. There are opportunities for workers to be bi-vocational, through, for example, English teaching or other professional skills.
Qualities
You function well in a pioneering situation. You get on with others easily. You speak Portuguese or are willing to learn the language well. You are an active member of your church.
