More than 10 million people in Spain live in small towns where there are no evangelical churches. In the region of El Condado, Huelva, 14 out of 16 villages have no evangelical presence. In mid 2024 the Lord put it on ECM missionary, Antonio's, heart to start a church planting project in Trigueros, with the vision of reaching other nearby towns in the medium to long term. He called it Sowing Hope.

ECM is looking for 1-2 missionary units (preferably families) who are willing to come and live in Trigueros for the medium to long term to help with this project. They must be willing and able to work as part of a team and their main function would be evangelism and discipleship. They should have the ability to make new relationships and develop friendships, as well as having training and experience in promoting and leading Bible studies with non-believers.

We are open to each missionary unit being able to develop a bivocational (tentmaking) ministry, especially if this could be a good way to reach out to the people of the village in a more natural way. As far as language is concerned, they should preferably have a sufficient level of Spanish but we are open to consider it otherwise.

We believe that this project comes from the heart of God and his desire to be present and close to every human being. Our conviction is that God is driving this missionary initiative and that He will raise up and build His Church in Trigueros and beyond.
