Wellington Chapel is an independent evangelical church in Herefordshire, committed to the authority of Scripture, the preaching of Christ crucified, the truths of the Protestant Reformation and believers’ baptism.

We are seeking a godly, gifted, and theologically sound man to serve as Pastor. Working alongside the elders, he will take the lead in preaching, teaching, discipleship, pastoral care, and evangelism. This role is designed to support the growing needs of the church.

The Person

• A mature male believer with a clear testimony of faith in Christ.
• In agreement with our doctrinal basis (aligned with the FIEC).
• A faithful Bible teacher, committed to expository preaching and Reformed theology.
• Pastoral, prayerful, and able to relate to people of all ages.
• Experience in church ministry is desirable.

Terms

• Full-time post, salary and benefits discussed at interview.
• Housing/relocation assistance may be available.
• Appointment subject to enhanced DBS check.
