Senior Pastor

The Pastor will serve as a collaborative servant leader within the church’s Leadership Team, helping to shape and implement the church’s vision, strategy and mission while equipping, empowering and mentoring others to use their gifts effectively. The role includes fostering a culture of discipleship, spiritual growth and pastoral care, supporting small groups and ensuring members are cared for within a loving church community. The Pastor will oversee the planning and delivery of Sunday preaching, teaching and worship services, while developing and encouraging others in these ministries. A key responsibility is to lead and inspire missional engagement, helping DWCC grow its impact within the local community, reach younger generations, and develop new outreach initiatives. The Pastor is also expected to model humility, teamwork, faithfulness and ongoing personal development, undertaking additional responsibilities as required to support the life and ministry of the church.
