Overseer for ECM Madrid Hospitality Centre

In the town of Camarma, just 30 km from the centre of Madrid and 25 minutes from Madrid’s airport, ECM has a multi-use building that has served a great many purposes since it was opened in 2003. It has 5 bedrooms to house up to 10 guests and a full kitchen and dining room. There are also 2 offices, along with 2 meeting spaces—one that can hold a meeting of up to 25 people and another for a smaller group of 5 or 6. The uses have been vast over the past 20 years—international trainings for ECMI, board meetings for ECM Spain and other organisations, retreats for missionary kids, local church activities, and an overnight stop for travelling missionaries. Specific Tasks: 

• Answer enquiries about using the centre
• Organise calendar of events and bookings
• Organise receipts and finances
• Cleaning, laundry, making beds
• Upkeep of the facility
• Welcome visitors

This could combined with other ministries, such as: 

• Hospitality for people in the church
• Encouragement to local believers (listening, providing meals)
• Social outreach ministries
• Counselling ministry (with local believers, non-believers, missionaries)
• Orientation for new missionaries
• Smaller training for missionaries and others (up to 25 people)
• Discipleship groups
• Evangelism and outreach ministries:
• Muslim ministry (exercise group for Muslim women)
• Sewing group, arts and crafts, scrapbooking, etc.

Other possibilities for the use of the space: 

• Evangelism, outreach and discipleship groups
• Counselling centre
• Training centre for smaller groups
• Co-working (office space)
