Bingham Academy is looking for an Educational Leader to provide leadership and direction in the Elementary and/or Secondary School that will enable Bingham Academy to fulfill its purpose of providing quality Christian education within a multicultural community, developing students of integrity who can change the world for God’s glory.

The right candidate will be committed to providing excellent organizational, curricula and instructional leadership across the Elementary School and will be deeply invested in the holistic growth of the students and teachers under their care.

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum - Masters level preferred)
  • Teaching license or certification
  • ACSI leadership certification or the willingness to attain this certification whilst in the role
  • Experience in educational leadership

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership in the Elementary and/or Secondary school through execution of Bingham’s strategic plan and overseeing all aspects of the school, including annual budget, processes and planning.
  • Provide leadership and oversight to Elementary teachers, ensuring they are equipped to deliver quality education, providing professional development and training, and leading the Elementary Education Team.
  • Ensure systems and structures are in place for all stakeholders within the Elementary School to thrive
  • Oversee the development of guidelines and systems for curriculum monitoring, assessment and evaluation.
  • Create an environment that reflects, develops and facilitates the mentoring and spiritual growth of staff, students and their families, while ensuring a biblical, Christ-centered perspective is integrated into all aspects of the Elementary School.
  • Serve as a member of Bingham’s Senior Leadership Team
  • Carry out all assigned duties with professionalism
  • Participate in ongoing professional development
