Joining the Walk Through the Bible team in the UK is an opportunity to help people of all ages discover and understand the Bible in an engaging, memorable and life-changing way.

Walk Through the Bible presenters deliver interactive Bible overview events in churches, schools and community settings across the British Isles. Using storytelling, movement, participation and creative teaching methods, presenters help children, young people and adults grasp the big picture of Scripture and grow in confidence in God’s Word.

Our volunteer presenters come from a variety of church backgrounds and professions, but all share a passion for communicating the Bible clearly, faithfully and enthusiastically. Some work mainly with schools and children, while others focus on church events, family sessions or adult seminars.

Training is provided through a supportive process that equips presenters to deliver Walk Through the Bible programmes with confidence and consistency. This includes:

  • Learning the Walk Thru the Bible teaching approach and methods
  • Understanding the structure and storyline of Scripture
  • Developing presentation and communication skills
  • Shadowing experienced presenters
  • Practising and delivering sessions as part of the training journey
  • Safeguarding and school engagement guidance where appropriate

Presenters are part of a wider team and community, receiving encouragement, mentoring and ongoing development opportunities. Flexible volunteering allows individuals to serve according to their availability, gifting and location.

The role involves:

  • Delivering energetic and interactive Bible overview sessions
  • Travelling to churches, schools and events when available
  • Engaging audiences of different ages and backgrounds
  • Representing Walk Through the Bible in a positive and professional way
  • Working collaboratively with churches, school staff and ministry teams
  • Continuing to grow personally in biblical understanding and communication

We are looking for people who:

  • Love the Bible and want others to understand it
  • Enjoy engaging with people of all ages
  • Are enthusiastic, reliable and teachable
  • Can communicate clearly and confidently
  • Work well as part of a team
  • Support the vision and values of Walk Through the Bible

Whether you are experienced in teaching or ministry, or simply feel called to help others discover the story of the Bible, we would love to hear from you.

By joining the Walk Through the Bible team, you can play a part in helping churches and schools across the British Isles encounter Scripture in a way that is memorable, accessible and transformational.

Please mention OSCAR when responding to this opportunity.
