As an Educational Leader at Bingham Academy, your mission field is the heart and minds of students and staff. Through vision, leadership, prayer, and service, you'll champion excellence in education while shaping a Christ centered community that equips the next generation to influence the world for Christ.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Educational Studies; a concentration in Administration, Leadership or Management
• Master's degree in Educational Leadership, Educational Administration, Education or related field (desired, but negotiable)
• Teaching certification/license
• ACSI leadership certification or willingness to attain while in the role
• Experience in classroom and educational leadership preferred

• Demonstrate strong instructional leadership, relational skills, cultural adaptability, and a commitment to quality Christian education

SOME KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide Christ-centered instructional leadership that promotes academic, organizational, curricular, and instructional excellence
• Coach, mentor, and support teachers through classroom observation, feedback, professional development and collaborative planning
• Ensure curriculum, instruction, and assessment are aligned with the school's mission, strategic plan, standards, and educational goals
• Cultivate a positive, relational, and culturally responsive learning environment for students and staff
• Partner with parents, teachers, administrators, and the wider school community to support student success
• Lead and contribute to school improvement, accreditation, and strategic initiatives
• Integrate a Christian philosophy of education and model Christlikeness in relationships with other school leaders, students, parents and staff
• Model servant leadership, flexibility, cultural intelligence, and a commitment to Christian education in an international, multicultural environment

VOLUNTEER SUPPORT
At Bingham, all our expatriate staff serve as missionary volunteers (raising their own funds). Bingham Academy cares about your well-being and wants to make your transition to life in Ethiopia easier. Subject to applicable volunteer agreement and school policy, support will include:
