How to register and use your login account.

You can register for your own personal account on the OSCAR website! This initially enables you to subscribe to and manage any of your mailing list subscriptions, plus receive Saved Search notifications about new opportunity listings.
If you want to manage your organisation's or church's information through your account, see point 5 below.
Click on the 'My OSCAR' button on the top right of any OSCAR web page, select 'Create new account' from the dropdown menu and fill in the 'Register a new OSCAR account' form.
Please read and agree to our Privacy Policy before you submit your form to understand how we will use your information.
1. To log in
- Click on the 'My OSCAR' button at the top right of any OSCAR web page and select 'Log in' from the dropdown menu (or go to oscar.org.uk/account).
- Enter your email address and password to log in (you can request a new password from this page by clicking 'Forgot Password?' if you have forgotten it)
2. To adjust any of your login/personal information
- Click on 'My Information' on the left menu or 'Edit Information' to change your name or login email address. You can also change your password here. Click ‘Update Account’ to save your new information.
3. To adjust any of your job/opportunity Saved Searches
- Once you have an account, you can save any of your searches in the jobs/opportunities section. These are stored in your account under 'My Saved Searches' on the left menu. You can then delete any that are no longer valid or create new ones in the Jobs section of the site with instant, daily or weekly email notifications of any new listings that meet your saved search criteria.
4. To adjust your Mailing List subscriptions
- Click on 'My Email Settings' on the left menu to subscribe or unsubscribe to OSCAR's various regular email newsletters.
5. To request access to your Organisation information (if appropriate)
You can have access to your organisation's infomation through your personal account. If you want to advertise jobs/opportunities, events or resources for an organisation, that organisation will need to subscribe to one of our packages (see OSCAR's Advertising Packages). If the organisation is on no package, then you will just have access to, and be able to edit, the basic details of that organisation. On our new system, you can actually manage multiple organisation accounts through one personal login account.
To manage an organisation:
- Click the 'Get started' orange button on the bottom left of your account page, or click 'Claim your organisation' under 'My Organisations'
- You are then able to search for an existing organisation. If there are matches, these are displayed and you can select the one you want. If there are no matches or none are correct, you can click to create a new organisation.
- When you submit your request, it goes through for approval by OSCAR. After checks are done and you are approved, you can manage that Organisation's account. Instructions for doing this are at Organisation Account Instructions.
- If you would like to request a certain package for an organisation, please email us and we will check the appropriate fee and invoice you for the cost of that package.
- There are handy summary boxes at the top of your account page showing your status and past activity in your account (for all orgs that you manage).
There's no need to logout, as you can stay logged in all the time you use the website. Should you wish to logout, there is an option on the top right 'My OSCAR' button dropdown menu.
