St Martin's Church, Liskeard

We are a growing Anglican evangelical church which seeks to reach out to our community in the power of the Spirit. We are building a multi-generational church, with a heart for families; guiding members to grow in their faith and love of Jesus.

We are one of five churches across Cornwall to receive investment from the Church Commissioners and Truro Diocese to create a series of resourcing churches. We are using this funding to build our team with the intention of growing from about 175 average weekly attendance to 600 or more within five years. As we grow and expand our resources we will work with other parish churches across South East Cornwall to help them grow as well.

St Martin’s Church, Liskeard is the second largest parish church in Cornwall, with a capacity of about 500. In 2018 we completed a major reordering of the church building, removing most of the pews, replacing them with comfy chairs, installing underfloor heating, creating a new kitchen and café area at the back of the church, a new creche area and a second toilet. We also installed a top AV system and Wi-Fi through the church.
