Beacon Evangelical Church, Handsworth

Beacon Evangelical Church began in 1987 as a union of three Handsworth churches - Lawnswood, Waverhill Road and Calvary.
We pooled our resources and relocated to our current building in Sandwell Road, at the top of the hill - hence 'Beacon' Church, a light for our community.

Several years ago we felt God was saying to us, 'Go!' You cannot stay within your four walls and keep this gift of life to yourselves - you have to share it! So we have made it our aim to find ways of presenting God's message of hope through love, service and through words to those who have never heard it before.
