Youth Pastor

2–3 days per week (including Sundays and some evenings)
£26,000–£31,000 pro rata

St Gregory’s Church is a growing Anglican church in Newquay with a heart to wholeheartedly follow Jesus and serve Cornwall and beyond. Children and young people are central to our life together, and we are seeking a Youth Pastor to lead and develop our youth ministry as part of our wider church vision.

This is a relational and missional role for someone who loves Jesus and loves young people. You will create welcoming, faith-filled spaces where young people can explore what it means to follow Jesus in everyday life – through Sunday groups, midweek gatherings, schools engagement, and special events.

You will work closely with our Kids & Families Lead, Church Leader, staff team, and a committed group of volunteers, helping young people feel fully part of the life of the church.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a clear Christian faith and a heart for discipleship
• Enjoys spending time with young people and listening well
• Brings creativity, warmth, and energy to ministry
• Can lead and support volunteers effectively
• Is committed to safeguarding and good practice

This role has an Occupational Requirement for the postholder to be a practising Christian (Equality Act 2010).
