Are you an experienced charity fundraiser? We are seeking a new Trustee with strong fundraising experience who shares a passion for our work and who can offer professional insight, support and strategic guidance to our Board, CEO, and senior management. This experience will help us to bring about lasting change through the work of our Christian partners.
About Embrace the Middle East
Embrace the Middle East is a Christian development charity (Registered No. 1076329), founded in 1854, working to improve the lives of vulnerable and disadvantaged people in the Middle East. We support local Christian partners focused on education, healthcare, and community development.
Our Board of Trustees is responsible for the charity’s overall governance, strategic direction, and ensuring compliance with our mission, legal obligations, and charitable objectives.
Key Responsibilities of Trustees
- Helping to formulate and regularly review the charity’s strategic aims
- Monitoring organisational performance against agreed goals
- Ensuring legal and regulatory compliance and promoting best practice
- Acting as guardians of the charity’s assets, ensuring responsible stewardship and proper application
