Nurse/ Occupational and/or Physiotherapy Worker

Matumaini Rehabilitation Centre is a home for children and youths with disabilities, orphans, vulnerable children and abandoned children. Each child at Matumaini is supported with their rehabilitation and care and the Centre does a lot of work in advocacy and creation of awareness of disabilities for the local and wider community.

If you have any medical training, experience as an Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist, or a background in social work, then these skills can be widely beneficial at Matumaini. Various opportunities include:

- working directly with the children and youth in their rehabilitation

- training our staff

- working in the wider community to increase knowledge and improving care of those with disabilities

There are always lots of opportunities at Matumaini Rehabilitation Centre so other skills or passions you have can also be used! Playing with the children, supporting in their studies, cooking, decorating, general DIY projects, admin roles...you name it and there is likely something you can do with your skills and passions at the Centre!
