Temporary Retail and Leisure Assistant

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join our team on a temporary basis from April through to 25th September.

This is a varied and hands-on role working primarily within our retail shop and vehicle storage site, with additional involvement across our wider business activities, including campsite operations, motorhome sales, and attending pop-up retail shops at Christian festivals. There may be the opportunity for a permanent position for the right candidate.

We are also proud to be based on the same site as Pye Green Christian Centre, a non-denominational church, and we support the work they do where possible.

Working Hours:

• Tuesday to Saturday
• 9:00am – 5:30pm
• Additional hours may be available

Pay:

• NLW

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting customers in our retail shop
• Till operation and handling transactions
• Stock management and replenishment
• Supporting day-to-day operations of our vehicle storage site
• Sending out invoices for storage customers
• Helping with campsite activities
• Assisting with pop-up retail shops at events and festivals
• Providing general support across the business, including motorhome sales

Essential Qualities

• Friendly and approachable manner
• Confident using PCs and basic systems
• Physically fit – comfortable being on your feet for extended periods and lifting boxes
• Able to work efficiently under pressure

Desirable (but not essential)

• Previous experience in a customer service or retail environment
• Knowledge of caravans and motorhomes
• Experience creating content for social media
