Finance Officer

Bikes4Mission is a UK-based ministry and registered charity that equips indigenous workers with motorcycles and scooters to reach unreached communities in unreached places around the world. We’re seeking a detail-oriented volunteer to oversee our financial records, ensure compliance with UK charity regulations, and support strategic decision-making with clear financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of income, donations, and expenditures
• Prepare regular financial summaries for board meetings
• Assist with annual reporting and Charity Commission compliance
• Support budgeting and cash flow planning
• Liaise with the founder and trustees on financial matters
• Help prepare for independent examination or audit if required

Skills & Experience

• Basic bookkeeping or finance experience (charity sector preferred but not essential)
• Familiarity with UK Charity Commission requirements — or a willingness to learn
• Comfortable using spreadsheets or accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Excel)
• Strong attention to detail and integrity
• Good communicator, able to explain financial matters clearly to non-financial team members

Time Commitment

• One or two days per month, split flexibly across the month
• Remote work, with occasional in-person meetings
