The Unforced Rhythms of Grace

Join Val Turner at The Wellspring as we journey together with Jesus, through challenging times. This ministry day is aimed at those who are disciples of Jesus wanting to answer His call, staying strong in The Lord and giving the Father glory through times of fragility, stress, insecurity and spiritual battle. The final session will include a time of Worship and Prayer Ministry.

Tiered Pricing: we offer tiered pricing as a means of subsidising those who may not afford the standard price of certain events. The upper (donation) price tier is used by those who wish to support those needing to make use of the lower (subsidised) price tier. The middle price tier is our standard price.

Programme:

10:00am – 10:30am: Start – Welcome/Registration/Hot drinks

10:30am – 11:30am: Session 1: Where are we standing? our relationship with Jesus - trust and transformation

11:30am – 11:35am: Short Break.

11:35am – 12:30pm: Session 2: The landscape of our life - observing the reality of our own lives, loving God, ourselves and then others

12:30pm – 1:30pm: Lunch.

1:30pm – 2:30pm: Session 3: Engaging with the reality of what works for us looking at possibilities we could incorporate and how God created us

2:30pm – 2:35pm: Short Break.

2:35pm – 3:30pm: Session 4: Worship and Prayer Ministry – a time of surrender to following Jesus moment by moment - participants will have the opportunity to receive prayer ministry in the Meeting Room, or to stay in the Chapel and be ministered to through music.

3:30pm – 4:00pm: End – Coffee/Cake.

About Your Teaching and Ministry Leader:

Parent, teacher, vicar and college chaplain, Val and her husband Mark now run a small retreat house in Hereford. Val has walked alongside many bereaved families and spends a large portion of her time training head teachers and their staff in how to journey the tragic circumstances that many children and their families find themselves in as a consequence of bereavement.
