We are passionate about empowering young people in their time of need and creating supportive communities where they can belong, contribute and thrive.

Exeter YMCA's Ten:10 internships are designed to give Christians the opportunity to gain intensive hands-on experience of effective social action. The programme is built around a cycle of action, reflection, training and development, but at its core Ten:10 is about demonstrating the love of Christ to the vulnerable and the disadvantaged.

The programme runs from September to July each year, and recruitment for the 2017 - 18 team is now underway! The programme is completely free, we just ask that you raise sufficient money to cover your cost of food and pocket money ( see the website for more details). Each intern is allocated a host family for the year and a bus pass, that way you have a good roof over your head and a way to get around the city at no cost to yourself.

Ongoing critical reflection and training is done in house, on local retreats and in partnership with South West Youth Ministeries and other choice organisations.
