BFA has an enrollment of approximately 300 students, with about 50% of the Year 9-12 students in the residential boarding program.

    BFA is a Cambridge International School offering Cambridge's curriculum in Years 5-10. Students prepare for Cambridge's IGCSE examinations in Years 9 and 10.     Bourofaye Christian School was set up originally, in the village of Bourofaye in the Casamance in 1980, to provide an education for the children primarily of WEC missionaries in Senegal and surrounding countries of West Africa. This truly international school is now used by families from over 20 mission agencies. While small, with around 70-80 students aged between 5 and 16, many of whom board, we retain a family atmosphere.

    This roadshow focusing on opportunities in mission visits various College Christian Union meetings throughout the UK during the college year. The Roadshow often comprises of a missions speaker, interviews with short- and long-term missionaries, a presentation, advisors, books, free literature and information.   • Developing Health Course

    Christian Medical Fellowship run an annual residential course for health professionals, covering all aspects of medicine in developing countries. The course runs for two weeks but some participants attend selected parts of the course which are relevant to their needs. Usually in June/July.

    EasyEnglish is clear and plain English that is easy to read.  EasyEnglish is good for people whose first language is not English.  EasyEnglish is also good for people with learning difficulties.

    The EasyEnglish Bible is freely available on the internet and in the YouVersion Bible App for mobile phones.  The EasyEnglish Bible and other resources can be used by organisations who help to take the Good News to people all over the world.

    The language rules for writing in EasyEnglish were developed by MissionAssist, which is a Christian charity based in the UK.  The team includes experienced Bible translators and theologians.  We help people to read, understand, and apply the Bible to their lives by providing a Bible Translation, Bible Commentaries, and Bible Studies in EasyEnglish.  MissionAssist is part of the Wycliffe Global Alliance.
