Who's behind OSCAR?

Mike Frith - Founding Director

Mike FrithMike works full-time with OSCAR and is involved in just about every aspect of the organisation. Originally from Dunstable, he worked as a pilot/engineer with Mission Aviation Fellowship in Madagascar and Uganda before returning to the UK to set up OSCAR. He has a Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Post Grad. Diploma in Mission Aviation Technology. He has also been involved in church planting and pioneer mission initiatives. Mike is married to Cheryl and they have two grown up children, Joanna & Will.

Sarah Nahrwold-Harrison - Admin & Marketing

Sarah N-HSarah joined OSCAR in 2021 and comes from a strong marketing background. She lives in Dorset and is a member of Poole Gateway Church where she helps with the Kids and Youth Groups. She also remotely works for Menadue, a Christian activity centre based in North Cornwall, and volunteers for Transformed Ministries.

 

Kieran Metcalfe - Website Development

Kieran MetcalfeKieran has been working as OSCAR's web developer since 2016. When he's not working for OSCAR, he's also a Freelance Graphic and Web Designer, Amateur Photographer and Worship Leader. He is married to Susie and they have two boys.

 

 

Charlotte Klitgaard - SEO & Google Ads

Charlotte KlitgaardCharlotte has been working as OSCAR's SEO and Google Ads consultant since March 2022. When she's not helping OSCAR appear higher on search engines, she's running her business Wild SEO Agency which exists to improve the online presence of churches and charities; as well as spending time with her husband and two young children, Levi & Caleb.

 

Joan Thomson - Admin & Data Checking

Joan ThomsonJoan has been a volunteer since 2018, helping with various admin and database tasks. Retired now following a career in education, she is actively involved in church life doing a variety of roles. She lives in south-west Scotland and is married to John.

 

 

Heather Snoek - Northern Ireland Representative

Heather SnoekHeather has represented OSCAR in Northern Ireland since 2019 and has recently retired from teaching. She is married to Frank (former missionary pilot) whom she met while they were both serving in Ivory Coast with WEC International. Since then they have served with JAARS (Jungle Aviation And Radio Service) in the USA and Kenya. They have three grown-up children: Nathan, Aimee and Rebekka.
