Additional Information:
Immanuel Online School merged with NSWLearning (established 1999 by Steve and Lyn Richards) in 2022 and now offers two distinct delivery tracks for learning. Open to applications for all year groups from Year 7 to 11. We prepare students for Cambridge International GCSE exams.
Curriculum
Unique, rigorous and engaging study based on an enhanced version of the English national curriculum, offering a range of subjects including Maths, English, Humanities, Science, Computing and our unique Foundations course, which resources students to engage with the world from a Christian perspective. To find out more about our curriculum on our learning portal amd explore the different courses by year or by track, please visit: https://moodle.immanuelonlineschool.com/
Our teachers
Be taught by experienced professional tutors with a choice of tracks: the IOS track (including live timetabled tutorials) or the NSW track (asynchronous distance learning).
Christian Ethos
Our Christian ethos is vital to the school and we subscribe to the Evangelical Alliance Basis of Faith and the ancient creeds of the Christian Church. You can find more information about our vision and values on our website here: https://www.immanuelonlineschool.com/about. All of our tutors are Christians and we want our ethos to underpin and be evident in all of the subjects we teach.
Class sizes
We prioritise small class sizes. We aim to limit each tutorial group on the IOS track to less than 12 students. This allows for excellent discussion and personal attention for each student.

Events and Meeting up
We have opportunities for in-person gatherings. Our last meet-up was a Biblical history tour of the British Museum. We plan to hold regular future events (including this summer) and we work with schools in the UK and internationally and local Christian home education groups. We require all students to take part in at least one extra-curricular activity per week, to ensure they have opportunities to meet with other young people.
