Volunteer Trustees
Thirtyone:eight is the leading independent Christian charity providing professional advice, support, helpline, training and resources in all areas of safeguarding children, vulnerable adults and for those affected by abuse. We exist to safeguard both children and vulnerable adults throughout the UK. We also work to help those who are, or have been, affected by child abuse and similar issues.
Our services are used not only by churches and groups across the denominational spectrum, but increasingly by other faiths as well as non-faith based organisations keen to utilise the resources and expertise we offer. We also give advice to Children's Services Departments, Adult Social Services, Police and other agencies across the UK. We are a partner agency with CEOP, and work closely with all statutory and third sector organisations involved in safeguarding.
Title: Trustee
Location: Remote with one in-person meeting a year. Plus, the whole team away day.
Hours: Four meetings a year. Plus a whole team away day with staff. Additional committees and working groups encouraged.
