Trauma Specialists

Church Mission Society

Our partners in East and Central Africa need mental health professionals with experience in trauma to offer local training.

  • Are you a mental health professional?
  • Do you have experience in dealing with patients who have experienced trauma?

You will need to be confident in training others while being willing to listen and learn from the local context.

A strong sense of integrity, cultural sensitivity and ability to maintain confidentiality is required.

You will need an active faith which informs your practice.

A degree or qualification in a relevant field, such as mental health nursing, social work, psychology or trauma therapy, is desirable.
