School Social Emotional Counsellor

(To start as soon as possible) To create a supportive environment by equipping the students who need spiritual, emotional, and social support to reach their God given potential alongside parents and teachers.

• Be available for emotional and spiritual individual counselling.
• Be a consultant for behavioural concerns with specific students.
• Serve as a resource and guide to teachers who are leading advisory groups.
• Identify along with teachers and administrators those students who will benefit from individual or group counseling.
• Assist in developing crisis management counseling policies.
• Counsel families, teachers and students during a school crisis.
• Be a liaison with community professionals (counsellors, psychologists, etc.) and develop a referral list of qualified professionals.
• In specific situations, act as a liaison between teachers, students and parents to ensure open communication and collaboration between all parties.
• Develop the counselling programme by supporting and expanding the current activities
