POKHARA STUDY CENTRE

PSC -The education programme of the International Nepal Fellowship

Are you passionate about teaching and Christian faith and ready for an adventure that combines purpose and impact? The Pokhara Study Centre (PSC) in beautiful Pokhara, Nepal, is urgently seeking experienced and enthusiastic Primary School Teachers to join our vibrant school community. This is a unique opportunity to invest in the lives of young learners while enabling expatriates to remain in Nepal, contributing their technical skills to the work of the International Nepal Fellowship (INF) and its partners. We are seeking two committed and passionate teachers who will foster a love of learning in our diverse, multicultural student body, create an engaging and supportive classroom environment and collaborate with our small, close-knit teaching team to deliver a holistic, child-centered education.

About the Role:

At PSC, we are dedicated to nurturing and inspiring students aged 5 to 11 years. Our primary school currently consists of two multi-age classes:

  • Class 1: Kindergarten to Grade 2
  • Class 2: Grade 3 to Grade 5

Why Join Us?

Teaching at PSC offers more than just a job—it’s an opportunity to make a lasting impact. You’ll experience:

  • The privilege of shaping the lives of young learners.
  • A welcoming and supportive community of staff and families.
  • The chance to live and work in the stunning city of Pokhara, nestled in the heart of the Himalayas.

All expatriate volunteers applying for an official visa require:

  • A Master’s degree in Education and at least five years of experience in education.
  • The desire to combine their Christian faith and technical expertise to equip, encourage and strengthen the capacity of others.
  • A good understanding of, and full commitment to, INF’s values and a passion for intercultural Christian service.
  • Intercultural training/experience.
  • A sending organisation.

If you’re ready to join our mission of transforming lives through education and service, we’d love to hear from you!

To Apply:

Please send your resume and a cover letter detailing your teaching experience and interest in this role to recruitment@inf.org. Please note: INF's UK office no longer sends personnel to Nepal for long-term or short-term mission, however, we can  connect you to one of our experienced sending agency partners.

Come and be part of a school community where you’ll grow professionally, live adventurously, and make a difference every single day.

We look forward to welcoming you to our team!

Warm regards,
Sebastian McGrath
