Outdoor Instructor

INTERESTED IN WORKING WITH YOUNG PEOPLE IN THE OUTDOORS?

We are looking for an enthusiastic Christian who is keen to work with youth in the outdoor environment to join our small team of 7 delivering all aspects of our schools and youth group programmes.

We offer a wide range of offsite activities from Surfing, Coasteering and Kayaking in the sea to Rock Climbing, Archery and Mountain Biking out of it! As a small centre the job entails all aspects of centre life from cleaning and maintenance to helping with the catering provision.
Accommodation can be provided in a staff house off-site in the village of Georgeham.

The salaried position is available for the right candidate whether they have any formal outdoor qualifications or not.

Salary range £20,930 - £27,500

Applicants must hold a full driving license (at least 2 years old) and be happy to receive training to drive minibuses and trailers. An ability to swim and be comfortable in choppy sea conditions is essential.

Experience or qualifications in the following are highly desirable.

• BC/PaddleUK Paddlesport Instructor/Leader/Level 1
• SPA/RCI Climbing
• Mountain Bike leader
• Beach Lifeguard (must be a competent swimmer)
• Surf Instructor (Board surfing)
• D1 Minibus license

There is a genuine occupational requirement for the post-holder to be a Christian.
