Lead Instructor - Frontier Centre

Hours per week: 37.5 (including some shift patterns with evening and weekend working required)

Salary: £25,721 per annum

Contract Term: Permanent subject to satisfactory references, an enhanced DBS check and a 6-month probationary period

We are looking for an experienced Instructor who will assist the Chief Instructor and Senior Instructor in running instructed activities with significant responsibility for day-to-day planning and delivery of the centre’s activity provision.  As a key member of the centre instructor leadership team, you will be able to clearly communicate our Christian ethos, objectives, mission and vision to staff and guests.

You will need to hold 3 of the following qualifications (or historical equivalents): Mountain Leader (summer), White Water Kayak Leader Award, Canoe Leader Award (white water or open water), Rock Climbing Instructor, Level 2 Mountain Bike Leadership Award. A Paddle Sport Leader award will also count as one of the 3 essential qualifications if a candidate does not have a Canoe or Kayak Leader Award.  A 16-hour outdoor first aid certificate is also a requirement.
