Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Teacher for Instrumental Brass to join our vibrant Music Department at Hebron School. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in brass instruments, including trumpet, trombone, French horn, and tuba, with the ability to teach students of all levels, from beginners to advanced players. The Teacher Instrumental Brass will be responsible for delivering high-quality instrumental instruction, conducting ensembles, and fostering a love for music among our students.

Responsibilities: 1. Teach brass instruments (trumpet, trombone, French horn, tuba) to Middle School, GCSE, and A Level students, delivering engaging and effective lessons that meet curriculum requirements. 2. Provide one-on-one music lessons to students who wish to learn a brass instrument that the teacher is proficient in. 3. Foster a positive and creative learning environment that encourages students to explore their musical talents and interests. 4. Plan and conduct music-related assemblies twice a year, showcasing students' musical achievements. 5. Collaborate with the Music Department to design, implement, and assess the music curriculum. 6. Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback and support. 7. Organize and participate in extracurricular music activities, such as brass ensembles, school band, or performances. 8. Stay updated on current music education trends, teaching techniques, and technological advancements in the field. 9. Attend and actively contribute to professional development courses and workshops organized by the Music Department. 10. Participate in department meetings, events, and initiatives as required.

Requirements & Preferences: • A recognized qualification in Music Theory and Practice (Bachelor's or higher degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or a related field).

• 5 to 10 years of experience teaching music in a school or educational setting. • Proficiency in teaching GCSE and A Level Music. • Proficiency in playing at least one brass instrument (trumpet, trombone, French horn, tuba) and the ability to provide individual lessons. • Strong knowledge of music theory, history, and performance related to brass instruments. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Passion for teaching and inspiring students to appreciate and excel in brass instrument performance. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Willingness to participate in professional development activities and contribute to departmental duties.

Preferences: • Professional certification in Music Education. • Experience in teaching music at the international school level. • Proficiency in multiple brass instruments. • Experience in organizing and conducting brass ensemble performances, concerts, or competitions. • Familiarity with educational technology for music instruction.
