Community Development Coordinator
Location: Sub-Saharan Africa / online + availability to travel
Do you have:

- The readiness and capability to go to the missions field within 1 year, including time to raise your missionary support and/or be self-funded.
- Willingness to complete the minimum training.
We are looking for a Community Development Project Coordinator who will join a local team to manage clean water and community development projects across Sub-Saharan Africa. You will work closely with local partners, ensuring alignment on project goals and sustainable outcomes. Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with local partners to identify needs and develop appropriate, sustainable solutions, particularly related to water access and management.
- Coaching and training local teams in the operation and maintenance of water systems and other community development initiatives.
- Ensuring donor intent is met and managing communication with international partners and stakeholders.
- Collecting and reporting both hard and soft data from projects to inform future strategies and fundraising efforts.
- Managing project budgets, timelines, and coordination with local and international stakeholders.
- Conducting field visits to oversee project implementation and to ensure the quality and sustainability of interventions.
You will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between international partners and local communities, ensuring that projects are impactful, contextually appropriate, and sustainable.
