Heartland Youth for Christ is excited to be recruiting a Centre Director. The successful candidate will continue to develop the mission of relevantly bringing the Good News of Jesus to young people in Coalville and the surrounding areas.

The role will focus on supporting young people’s journey in growing a relationship with Jesus through Christian community and discipleship opportunities. This will involve working with the local churches and local schools to create and service opportunities and with local young people, sharing the gospel with them. The Centre Director role also involves managing staff and volunteers, connecting with supporters, expanding the supporter network, and building partnerships with local communities and churches to increase awareness of Heartland Youth for Christ.

Salary: £33,150 FTE

Occupational requirements:

• Post holder is Christian and can work within the Youth for Christ statement of faith, in accordance with part 1 of schedule 9 of Equality Act 2010 and our Code of Conduct.
• Suitable references will be required from the successful candidate.
• Enhanced DBS check will be required.
