Administrator

Operation Agri

Operation Agri, (www.operationagri.org.uk), is looking to recruit a part-time Administrator who will work from home.

As the first point of contact for supporters, both individuals and churches, Operation Agri’s Administrator will present a positive and friendly image of the charity.

The Administrator will need to be able to vary their hours to cope with the fluctuating demands of the position while maintaining their contracted hours, (20 per week), as an average.

The Administrator, reporting to the Chair of Trustees, will be one of two employees of the charity; the other being our Charity Development Manager. All the other work of Operation Agri is undertaken voluntarily by the Trustees and others, or by contractors such as designers and printers.

If you would like an informal chat about the role, please contact Nigel Jones nigeljones@operationagri.org.uk

Applications should be submitted by 20th February 2025. Interviews will be held in March 2025 with an April starting date.

Further information about Operation Agri

Operation Agri is a Christian development charity helping some of the world’s most disadvantaged people improve their lives.

It was founded by the Baptist Missionary Society, (now BMS World Mission), in the 1950s. We support rural and urban development projects in three continents, attacking the basic causes of poverty among some of the most disadvantaged people in the world.

The projects help people to address their own problems, rectify injustice, establish their role in the community and improve their lives physically, mentally and spiritually. With its aim of “showing the love of Jesus in action,” OA works with overseas partner organisations led by locally based Christians.

Please mention OSCAR when responding.
