Join Sue Perks at The Wellspring for this workshop style day retreat. Sue will combine the theory and practice of singing with the Theology of worship and prophecy. Through creative and fun ways, Sue will help you explore your own unique sounds and how to use your voice with increasing confidence and freedom.

Programme:

10-10:30am: Start - Welcome/Registration/Hot Drinks

10:30-11:30am: Session 1 - Why we sing and what happens when we do? Encountering the Lord’s presence as we sing.

11:30-11:40am: Comfort Break

11:30-12:30pm: Session 2 - Improving our skills and confidence. We will explore how good posture, correct breathing and a relaxed approach to singing, can help us sing with more ease and confidence.

12:30-1:30pm: Lunch

1:30-2:30pm: Session 3. Getting creative. We will explore how the prophetic can help us hear and respond to the Lord’s song.

2:30-2:40pm: Comfort Break.

2:40-3:30pm: Session 4. Singing the Lord’s song

3:30pm-4pm: Afternoon hot drinks and cake. Ministry, for those who would like it, will be available at the end of the day.

About Your Creative Arts Day Leader:

Sue Perks is a singing teacher and voice coach, whose passion is to help people find their own unique voice and use them to sing with increasing confidence and freedom. Sue loves to blend her understanding of the theology of singing with the prophetic, to unlock new and creative ways of using our voices in worship, ministry and intercession.
