Finance Manager


Role:                            Finance Manager – part time

Salary:                       £25,000 - £33,000 FTE (£15,000 - £19,800 P/T)

Hours:                         22.5 per week (scope for full-time role with wider responsibilities)*

Annual Leave:           15 days (plus bank holidays)

Location:                    SN15 (Chippenham, Wilts). Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK, with a valid visa and work permit already in place if required.


SAT-7 UK is looking to recruit a part-time Finance Manager (FM) to join its growing UK Team. The jobholder will report to the CEO and be part of the Leadership Team.

We are looking for somebody to undertake overall responsibility for the Finance function within the Chippenham office, delivering timely and relevant information to the CEO and Trustees. Responsibilities will be to:

  • Oversee the smooth running of all daily & monthly financial processes & manage the work of the account officer.
  • Ensure the accuracy, timeliness and reliability of our financial data and documentation.
  • Co-ordinate the smooth running of our annual audit process
  • Manage SAT-7’s financial policy, procedures and operational matters ensuring compliance in all statutory and regulatory areas
  • Lead the preparation of our annual budget

*Applicants have an option to apply for the full-time Finance and Administration Manager (FAM) role which encompasses the Finance Manager role with wider responsibilities. The FAM’s wider responsibilities will include contributing (as part of the Senior Leadership Team) to the strategic direction of the charity, liaison with our International Office finance team, management of third party relationships with key suppliers and support to the CEO in any legal matters.
