Are you an enthusiastic and motivated person with administrative experience? Do you enjoy working as part of a team? This is a great opportunity for an experienced Finance Assistant to join our team.

The Finance Assistant is a 1 year fixed-term part-time post of 25 hours per week (3.5 days - flexible), with a starting salary of £19,242 (£26,940 full time equivalent) per annum plus a generous pension package and working alongside an experienced and friendly team.

The Finance Assistant is part of the Finance & Corporate Services team and is primarily responsible for the Sales Ledger function across all four entities, he/she will liaise closely with members of other teams to ensure that invoices are raised and sent in a timely manner that remittances are recorded and aged debtor reports are generated regularly to discuss any ‘bad’ debtors with the relevant team. 

The successful candidate must have a good level of education with A Level or equivalent experience, Part AAT or finance related qualification or equivalent experience including work in sales ledger control and data entry preferably within the charity sector. It is also important that the post holder is in sympathy with the aims and values of the Church Mission Society which can be found on our website.
