UFM Worldwide exists to support local churches in making disciples of all nations. We love helping churches to identify, train, send and support workers for cross-cultural mission.  Our priorities are to take the gospel to the least reached and to support under resourced churches around the world.  We currently have the privilege of serving:

  • Over 300 long term & short term mission partners from 39 nationalities
  • Sent by 149 gospel hearted churches, serving in over 50 different countries

We're looking for a candidate with strong experience in pastoral care, a heart for mission and a love for people.  Experience serving in the local church and/or in cross-cultural mission will be a strong advantage.

This role oversees the pastoral care of all of our mission partners within UFM Worldwide, complementing the pastoral support from sending churches. Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting other members of the Leadership Team and volunteers who have pastoral responsibilities as first points of contact for UFM mission partners.
  • Actively delivering pastoral care, as the first point of contact, for a number of our mission partners.
  • Supporting the Head of Women's Pastoral Ministry and TCK Coordinator to ensure that mission families and children are well cared for pastorally.
  • Coordinating and taking part in our programme of regular in-country visits to mission partners.
  • For suitable candidates, speaking about the work of UFM and mission more broadly in churches and other Christian groups.
  • Serving as a member of our Leadership Team.
