Winter Work Weekend

A weekend to work, rest and pray. During the day you will join team members in environmental tasks on the estate or deep cleaning and decorating of the main house. You don’t need to be especially strong or fit, but you will be active and get dirty hands!  You’ll end the day with a sense of satisfaction, as you will have made a valuable contribution to nature’s thriving and our ministry of hospitality. 

The day will start and end with a rhythm of community prayers. In the evening you will be able to rest and will be invited to join times of fun, fellowship and worship. 

We offer this long weekend at a reduced rate. If you are willing to share a room, this will enable us to make this offer available to more people, but there is no pressure to do so.  

Accommodation is in the renovated eighteenth-century hunting lodge with a mixture of comfortable single, twin and family bedrooms. Some rooms have en-suite facilities, while others have shared toilet and shower facilities available.    

This event is fully catered, starting with dinner after arrival on Friday and ending with breakfast before you leave on Monday. Food at Kilmalieu is home-made and consistently praised for its quality.

Depart 10am (free delivery to 11:40 train from Fort William available)
