Come Follow Me – Advisor Training for small groups

Our popular discipleship course Come Follow Me is available in many languages as study books and via a web-app platform.

Come Follow Me helps new believers from a Muslim background to:

• put down deep roots in Christ
• grow deeper with each other and with their mentor
• be transformed in their thinking and lifestyle, as God’s Word interacts with their old worldview
• learn inductive study by going all the way through one book of the Bible
• grapple with practical issues of following Christ in a Muslim setting
• relate wisely to their Muslim families, with appropriate witness

We believe that it is important to understand the method behind the course to use the materials most effectively.

Our training helps Advisors to:

• understand the course design and method of Come Follow Me
• lead group discussion using the Advisor Guide
• plan to start a course in their area

It also touches on cultural issues for believers of Muslim background.

Now available as a small group study resource

To make training more widely available, we developed the Online Video Training Resource. You can host a Come Follow Me Advisor Training for 4 to 6 people in your home. We hope that this will enable more churches and individuals to prepare well before running CFM.

The resource is a replica of the live one day workshop, offered in four separate sessions. All the teaching and information is online in the form of video clips and information or questions for students to interact with. It simply requires someone to host it - to gather people together, print off a few handouts and set up a computer or screen with internet access to the Advisor Training resource.
