  • Educare

    Educare is an email newsletter published 4 times a year (January, March, June, September) and covers a wide range of third culture issues from preparation of children for cross-cultural living to re-entry to the passport country, boarding to home schooling and much more. It is available free of charge on request.
    Editor, Steve Bryant, also produces 3 CDs of resources available to purchase at £3 each (including P&P). They are:

    • TCK Education & Welfare (2010) - a comprehensive guide to education and welfare issues when taking children into cross-cultural situations. This contains just about everything from pre-departure preparation to re-entry, home education to boarding and much more.
    • The Next Chapter (2010) - a guide to re-entry for younger children. This has a section for parents with all of the essential information about re-entry, plus an activity book for children up to about 12 or 13.
    • Into all the World.....With Children (2011) - a guide to preparing children for cross-cultural living. There are sections for parents and sending agencies, plus a wide range of colourful activity sheets and ideas to help prepare children of all ages.

    Family Lives is a charity with over three decades of experience helping parents to deal with the changes that are a constant part of family life.

  • Global Connections 'TCK' Forum

    For staff of Global Connections member agencies, service agencies, churches, schools, parents and ex-mission partners who are concerned with the welfare of Third Culture Kids (TCKs) there is the TCK Forum. The forum's main focus is to help and encourage the support, care, education and training of TCKs.

  • Max7

    The Max7 website features a variety of Bible resources including curriculum, videos, music, and training materials for use through children's or young people's ministry, sports or creative ministry. This worldwide partnership freely serves the work of evangelism, helping children and young people live life to the MAX, 7 days a week with Jesus - the life described in John 10:10.
    With an easy-to-use multilingual search function the website allows users to find resources relating to a Bible verse or keyword. In addition, the Max7 community is able to participate and contribute to resource development through feedback and uploading new resources to the site. Regular updates of new Max7 resources can also be accessed through RSS feeds from the website, so users can stay in touch with new resource additions.

  • The Association of Christian Teachers (ACT)

    This is a site for Christian teachers or anyone else concerned about education. ACT provide support and advice to members. Their website has links to resources, forums and news about education from a Christian viewpoint.

  • The Pregnant Traveler

    This US based website, that sprouted out of The Travel Doctor website, is concerned with all things to do with pregnancy and travel.
