Youth Worker

Mission Africa

Do you have a passion for youth ministry? Do you want to see young lives changed and communities transformed? Do you have experience in youth and children’s work?

We are looking for someone to work in the Kikuyu area of Kenya on the outskirts of Nairobi. This area is well developed with a large number of schools. You will spend time working with the church to build relationships with youth in the area.

There is an occupational requirement for overseas missionaries to be committed Christians, endorsed and formally recognised by their home Church. Missionaries must be able to support and promote the Christian ethos and theological beliefs of Mission Africa as set forth in our statement of faith. Missionaries, in addition to their overseas work, will be expected, whilst  on home assignment (furlough), to support the Mission through taking part in various Christian activities such as (but not limited to)  Church events of any type, prayer meetings, Christian conferences, informal Christian gatherings.

All overseas roles require some personal support raising to be carried out – missionaries are expected to raise a minimum of 70% of their estimated support costs. Mission Africa will offer training and support in fundraising activities.

Please mention OSCAR when responding.
