Cambourne Church

Cambourne Church Youth and Family Worker

24 hours per week

Salary up to £28,000 per annum pro rata dependent on experience

Are you a committed disciple keen to share the good news of Jesus with others within the church and community? Do you feel challenged to take up a role as a Youth and Family Worker?

If your answer is Yes to these questions, then Cambourne Church would love to hear from you! We are a thriving, broadly evangelical church – a local ecumenical partnership of the Church of England, Baptist Union, United Reformed Church and Methodist Church. We are situated to the west of Cambridge, and we are looking for someone to develop and deliver our strategic vision for our youth ministry.

We seek to build on the previous excellent work of our former employees and to respond spontaneously and creatively to emerging opportunities, drawing our Youth into the life of the church, while having fun. In particular, following the Covid-19 pandemic, a specific focus of the role will be helping our Youth reconnect in their relationships with each other and with God. There will also be an emphasis on collaboration between children’s and youth work for older primary age children and younger secondary pupils.

You can download our recruitment pack here which contains an overview of the Church, the recruitment process, and a job description for the role. The post is initially for four years.

To apply please complete the application form and send it to with a full copy of your CV and a short two-minute video introducing yourself by 10th October 2021.

Interview Dates 19th/20th October (virtual) and 2nd November (in person).

Please mention OSCAR when responding.
