Special Education Teachers

International China Concern

The Special Education Teacher in Changsha primarily supports the training, mentorship and day to day support of local special education teachers.  This includes consulting into classroom management, the establishment of individual IEPs, assessment and evaluation of students and teachers, day to day problem solving, and running training and support sessions for teachers. 

The SE teacher may also facilitate the short term visits of other education professionals for training purpose.  He/she will advise senior management regarding the educational needs of students, and training needs of staff.

The SE teacher will also do some hands on teaching within the classroom as required.
