Social Workers - Family Support Worker

International China Concern

International China Concern (ICC) is a Christian development organization that works with the lost and forgotten, China's abandoned and disabled with opportunities for you to come and give life and hope to children who have mental and/or physical disabilities in China.  As you come and become part of our China based field staff you will experience their lives impacting yours, reaching deep into your heart as they reflect the love of Christ.

The Social Worker will work within ICC’s Family Partners Programme in China, primarily providing support, mentorship, supervision and training and advice to local Chinese social workers and staff working within a multidisciplinary team setting.

The Social Worker will facilitate programs including family assessments, family counselling, family support groups and home visits.  He/she will provide supervision and support to local Chinese carrying out these programs, and directly work into the more complex cases presented.

The Social Worker will advise senior management regarding the direction and general management of the family support programs
